I wanted to get out and do something big today, but I just didn't have time. I spent most of the day playing with my kids while my wife studied. Played some indoor baseball and Rockband on the Wii. The kids kicked my butt.

Got outside for a run at 9:30 and did 5 miles. I hate running in the dark, so I stopped after 5. My pace wasn't very fast. I just wasn't feeling like pushing it at all.

I LOVE running in the dark..in the summer I will do runs from anytime between 9pm and 1am..lol...BUT never in the winter..WILL slip and hurt my rib on the other side! I just slugged around On Saturday..

I should have clarified. I actually don't mind running at night in the summer, but in the winter it is just too cold. Cold: I am not a fan. I actually did quite a few late nighters last year because I usually don't workout until my kids are in bed.

You were totally fine being a slug yesterday after your Friday workout. I would have been a slug too. :)
