This was one of the best runs of the year because I was able to do it with my kids. My daughter Emma (12) wanted me to take her running and after I told her yes everyone including the dog wanted to come, so we made it a family adventure. The first mile was mostly with Emma and Amelia (10) right with me while I tried to slow the dog down. We just ran down 1120 N. to Hunter Park and back to the house. My son Alec (5) even tagged along and ran most of the first mile. Amelia and I finished in 9:50 and everyone wanted to keep going, so we ended up doing 2 miles together. I would run ahead about 100 yards and then turn around and run back to everyone and then repeat. The kids all ended up with 2 miles and they were tired, so I took them home and did another lap to the park and back. The kids had a blast, so I think we will do this every weekend.

Lily- I weigh myself everytime I go to the gym and the last 6 months I have been pretty steady between 155-156. it really doesn't seem to matter what I eat or how much I work out.

Bryce- I just bought my oldest her first pair of running shoes yesterday. She is excited to keep running.
