Had a nice run after I put the kids to bed. I am scheduled to run the Provo River half this Saturday (my first race) so I need to have a good workout today and tomorrow and then I'll take it easy the rest of the week. I also signed up for the Provo full marathon on September 12th. I know I am not ready for it yet, but I know I can do it. I'm not expecting to break any time records... just finish.

Dude, why didn't you talk to me about this stuff first? I'm running the Top of Utah marathon on Sept 19th. You should have come and run that with me. It would be so much fun.

Good luck this weekend. 13 miles will be fine for you. I'm glad you are racing now. Next step is to get these road races out of the way and start focusing on TRAILS. I have a bunch of fun races for you to do.

For some reason I thought that the top of Utah was full. Could I still get in? Actually, it probably doesn't matter at this point. No way I could run a marathon back to back weekends.

Way to go after the races. I look forward to seeing how they go for you!
