yay for no pain! Are you testing out your legs on a hike? Where are you going?

Yes, I am going to hike something for sure in the next few days. I was supposed to do Olympus tonight, but my friend bailed on me.

dang friend! Mt. Olympus is actually one of my least favorite hikes. I hope you get a good hike in this weekend Scott.

HAHA.. Leslie, I used to feel the same way about Olympus, and then I started doing it in the winter, Spring, and Fall, and I have actually come to enjoy it. It is a great workout, and when it isn't hot and dry and the crowds aren't there it is a lot more fun. I know what you mean though ;-)

Mt. Olympus is definitely a good work out, but so exposed and HARD!! I also had my car broken into so it is offically off my list. Oh, and I met up with a crazy guy once and had to call my son to come get me......bad memories.... turned out the crazy guy was not crazy but dehydrated and had sun stroke and search and rescue were searching for him, I came down off the mountain that day with my son and a crew of search and rescue and the goofy guy.

That sounds like quite an experience Leslie. I definitely don't like to do it during peak times (summer weekends). My favorite Oly hikes were when I didn't see any other hikers on the trail. It isn't my fav for sure, but a good workout that is close and easy. :)
