I woke up early this morning to get in my workout before work. I love getting up early on Fridays to lift because it allows me to spend more time with my family on Friday night, and I always feel better when I can get my workout in. I think I will add this to my routine every week.

I was really tired because I stayed up late watching a show on the Discovery channel. I only got 5 hours of sleep, so it was hard getting out of bed, but I am glad I did. the gym was so crowded this morning. I lifted (upper body/core) for 45 minutes and I must have worked hard because I was sweating bad when I quit.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Way to go making Family a Priority! I still can't lift that early a.m. I like my old lady joints all warmed up! Usually I will lift at 1pm..sometimes Friday or Sat nights because the gym isn't crowded...Wow Sweating Bad..You worked it!

Missy- I used to feel sick every time I lifted early in the AM, but lately I have been having a protein shake before I go and it really seems to help. I usually lift Monday nights and Friday or Sat mornings. It seems like the gym is always crowded lately.

I'm going to be hitting the gym several if not all mornings at 5:30a.m. for bike or swim..I will have to eat prior..I just get majorly SICK working out empty. Need a Hotdog and a coke probably....lol..My magic workout food. Can't stand how the gym keeps getting crowded..Maybe it is just the January New Years Resolution people..They will give in soon..Lol.. At my Gym in the afternoon when I lift they the men and womens track and field there lifting..That started several months ago. I was major..excuse me....P*ssed! >.< Me no like to share! I keep thinking about rock climbing every time I visit your blog..lol..Here in a few months I will hire a rock climbing instructor to hone my skills! :)

Oops..I meant..The UVU men and women's track and field teams are lifting at my gym now..why can't they lift on campus?

From Scott Wesemann on Mon, Feb 01, 2010 at 02:24:05 from 75.162.72.176

Do you workout at Golds? Yeah, I would be mad too. I hate working out when it's crowded. It should slow down in the next month though, although the UVU folks will probably still be there. I workout at the American Fork fitness center. They have their own problems, but I probably don't want to go into them here... :)

Hot dog and a Coke? Ha! Hey, whatever works. My weakness in the Double Double at In N Out. Baaaaad.

Jun usually gets out at least once per week to rock climb, so you should just tag along sometime. No need for an instructor. Dust off those shoes ;)

Yep Golds. Speaking of coke..I need some caffeine..I am slumped over in my chair!

Yah I will tag along..maybe I will hold the picnic basket for Rock Climbing adventure! My shoes aren't really dusty at all..they look brand new..lol..Have them in my bag...I should take a pic of them for you I think they are super cute. :D

Ok, that sounds good. I will keep you in the loop when the snow melts. We've never had a picnic basket. Sounds pretty good. :)

How about a pic with you wearing the swim cap and the rock shoes at the same time? :P

Coolio! Would love to come. :) Don't actually have a picnic basket but could find one...

That would be a mighty fine pix! :P
