I spent the day on Mission Beach with my family. We had such a fun time. I was able to take each of my kids out to teach them how to boogie board and they loved it, but the water got a little cold for them, so they wouldn't stay out for long. I spent about 2 hours out there riding the waves and I had an amazing time. I caught some really good waves and they started to get pretty big, so I came in and a few minutes later the lifeguards made everyone come in because of the big waves. I was pretty spent afterward. Boogie boarding is a great workout. We made sand castles, caught sand crabs and even a few oysters that my kids are still playing with.

After we got back and cleaned up I went to the fitness center and did 3 slow miles on the treadmill. Everything feels really good.

Sounds like a great vacation. If you can, you should try to find a 5k race to enter tomorrow. That's always fun on vacation.

Sorry you caught the crabs, dude.

Burt would know ALL ABOUT crabs.

Did you know that watching body boarders just might be the sexiest thing ever? I think so, I've done this a lot, I would know.

Oh my gosh Lily! What if they're fat and hairy? Is it still sexy?

From Lily on Sat, Jul 03, 2010 at 15:47:08 from 67.199.181.73

Well, this applies to Wesemann. He is not fat and not hairy. Burt we all know you need a manscape buddy.

Lucky! I love Mission Beach! Been way too long since I've been there. Sounds like a great day, and a great vacation.

Burt, please let us know how you know all about crabs. Thankfully I know very little. :) Also, please post pics of your manscape.

Thanks Lily. Good to know I am not fat and hairy. Ha.

Bryce- It was amazing.
